“My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal and experience tonight. The steak frites, duck breast , escargo, cocktails, profiterole, and awesome amaretto souffle with candied orange peel made a memorable meal for sure. We dont usually indulge so much, but we're glad we did. We will be back.”

“Great restaurant, awesome atmosphere and great service, we loved it all. Awesome appetizers. Tart with mushrooms and lardon, tuna tartar and foie gras were great. For the main dish we had beef bourguignon, the beef was good but the sauce was a little bit watery for my taste, I think it would be much better if it was reduced a little more before serving. Other than that everything was great, the manager was really nice and corrected the mistake on the spot, very professional.”

“The best French restaurant I've ever tried! It was my parents' first time in the U.S., and before we stumbled upon this restaurant, there were no reviews about it on Chinese social media. We happened to notice foie gras on the menu and decided to walk 40 minutes just for it. Luckily, we made it right before the restaurant closed. The foie gras turned out to be a hidden menu item, but honestly, every dish we ordered was incredible. The roasted sea bass and the sauce paired with the foie gras were especially outstanding. Each dish had a perfectly balanced flavor profile. My parents, who rarely eat French cuisine and initially had some preconceived notions, were so impressed that they said they would definitely return the next time they visit New York. The service was warm and attentive as well.”

“Oh what a beautiful French restaurant - you could almost imagine being in France. Every detail is well thought out for comfort and atmosphere. The food is amazingly delicious. In fact, I had something I hadn't eaten in 20-years...frogs legs. It is surely the star and urge you to give it a try (tastes BETTER than chicken)!

The staff is gracious and professional yet friendly and warm. I went for brunch but will definitely return for dinner.”

“Let me start off by saying that I believe my experience here to be an anomaly. In my experience, the food was wonderful but the service was extremely disappointing. That said, every other table looked happy with their experience.

It took over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. After maybe 13 minutes , the hostess pointed our table out to a server, who still didn’t check in on us… until she nudged him multiple times. During this time, two different people who appeared to be managers looked over at our table multiple times too! Usually, after a table has been waiting for that long someone would at least acknowledge that we’ve been waiting for too long, etc. Our server did no such thing, and the manager seemed to not know either.

Beyond that, our server didn’t check in about our food— neither after our appetizer arrived, nor after our mains arrived. The manager checked in at the end of our appetizer.

Both drinks we ordered were off balance. I would not order escargots again (I have had much better escargots at several other French spots in the city). The burger and bavette steak were both delicious.

The restaurant is beautiful, and the ambiance was lovely (not too loud, which I care a lot about). Like I said earlier, other tables seemed to be having a great time. It was a conflicting experience because overall the food was good. I’m not sure if I’ll give it a second chance, especially with so many other great French spots in the area.”
